Targeted Local Cryo (TLC)
Sleek Laser’s TLC Cryolipolysis is a locally targeted fat freezing nonsurgical fat reduction procedure that uses cold temperature to decrease fat cell deposits in certain areas of the body. The procedure is designed to reduce localized fat deposits or bulges that do not respond to diet and exercise. This treatment is intended for spot fat reduction and skin tightening.
Targeted Local Cyro TLC causes thermal shock to the affected area due to its ability to spray Co2 at -78C under 50bar pressure, cooling the treatment area locally. The treated area will be exposed to 90 second blasts using a freeze thaw technique. The treatments are powered by Cryolipolysis – a treatment used to destroy fat cells by freezing them within the temperature range of +5 to -4 ˚C. The cold treatment causes apoptosis or cell death of subcutaneous fat tissues, these dead fat cells are removed from the body via the lymphatic system.
